Pavanji, thanks for the information.

As it is very much known to all of us that most of the ISP are in Kathmandu Valley only or outside in Big cities and few are in rural areas.

It is of NTA's, and of course of the Govt's concern that how to promote or provide incentive for the existing ISPs or New ISPs to operate in rural sector? What is the criteria for rural ?

Please share your ideas and views so that NTA can take appropriate decisions on this regard.

Illegal VoIP: What will happen to the Big Fishes

Now VoIP is the most Important Issue for Bangladesh. Especially in Telecommunication sector, Government failed to take the Benefit of VoIP properly. Government security forces arresting lots of small entrepreneurs called VoIP operator to stop VoIP. But those small VoIP operators are not the real Big Fishes. The Big Fishes like Grameen Phone, Aktel, Citycell and other operators supported those small entrepreneurs to do VoIP. Why not Government taking action against those mobile operators ?

Weekly News Magazine Shaptahik 2000 published a special Report on the VoIP issue blaming those mobile operates with some specific evidence. To get the report, please log on to:
